Flexiparts manufactures custom plastic V-blocks based on customer drawings, 3D CAD files, or physical samples.
Each V-block can be customized for the required dimensions, V-groove angle, mounting method, material, and functional requirements. Parts are made to order rather than supplied as standard off-the-shelf products.
Custom plastic V-blocks can be produced by CNC machining or injection molding, depending on the part design, tolerance requirements, and production quantity.

Material Options for Custom Plastic V-Blocks
Material selection depends on load, friction, wear, dimensional stability, operating conditions, and the surface of the supported component.
- POM (Acetal): Suitable for precision components requiring good dimensional stability, strength, and low friction.
- Nylon (PA66): Suitable for applications requiring toughness, wear resistance, and mechanical strength.
- UHMW-PE: Suitable for low-friction and wear applications, especially where impact resistance is also required.
- PTFE: Suitable for applications requiring very low friction, chemical resistance, or a wide operating temperature range.
- PEEK: Suitable for demanding applications involving higher temperatures or higher mechanical requirements.
Other engineering plastics can also be evaluated based on your application requirements.
