Face Width: 20–300 mm, matched to your belt width
Face Profile: flat, crowned or flanged. A crowned face is slightly convex and helps keep the belt centered, while flanges hold the belt in place where tracking is a concern.
Outer Diameter: 50–500 mm, depending on the drive ratio and application
Bore and Hub: 10–100 mm bore, with options for plain bore, keyway, set screw, metal insert or press-fit bearing
Surface Finish and Tolerance: Ra 1.6–3.2 μm for machined surfaces, with dimensional tolerance typically ±0.05–0.10 mm

Flat Belt Pulleys vs. Other Belt Pulleys

Flat belt pulleys suit light-to-medium loads, high speeds and long center distances, and they run quietly. Because they rely on belt tension for grip, they are less suited to high-torque drives. For stronger grip, consider V-belt pulleys. If the shafts must stay exactly synchronized, choose timing pulleys. To keep the belt tight or increase wrap, add an idler pulley.
