- PA (Nylon / PA6 / PA66): Excellent wear resistance and high mechanical strength. The ideal standard choice for medium-to-heavy drive loads.
- POM (Acetal / Delrin): High dimensional stability, low friction, and zero moisture absorption. Perfect for maintaining precise groove tolerances and smooth running.
- PP (Polypropylene): Lightweight and highly resistant to acids, alkalis, and chemicals. Best suited for light-duty, wet, or chemical environments.

Stepped Cone Pulleys vs. Other Belt Pulleys
A stepped cone pulley changes speed by moving the belt between steps. If your drive needs only one fixed ratio, a single-groove V-belt pulley is simpler. If the shafts must stay exactly synchronized, choose timing pulleys. All types are available as custom designs, made to your drawing or sample.
