Custom Small Rubber Grommets for Precision Applications

“Small” means different things depending on your application — a 3mm bore grommet for a sensor cable, a 6mm OD grommet for a PCB panel cutout, or an 8mm overall diameter grommet for a compact enclosure. What they have in common is that standard off-the-shelf sizes rarely fit, and a slightly wrong bore or groove width causes rattles, leaks, or assembly failure.

We manufacture custom small rubber grommets to your exact dimensions — bore size, outer diameter, groove width, and flange thickness all come from your drawing or sample, not from a catalog. If your current supplier can only offer the nearest standard size, that is the gap we fill.

Precision at Small Scale — Why Dimensions Have to Be Exact

The small grommets we most commonly produce fall in these ranges — but these are reference points, not limits:

• Inner Bore (ID): 2mm – 12mm, matched to your cable or wire OD
• Outer Diameter (OD): 6mm – 20mm, sized to your panel cutout
• Groove Width: matched to your panel thickness

At this size range, a 0.5mm error in groove width on a 10mm OD grommet can mean it falls out under vibration, or jams on the assembly line. We send T1 samples before production — if the sample does not fit your panel, we adjust the tool before running volume. If your dimensions fall outside these ranges, send them anyway. We quote from your drawing, not from what we stock.
