Custom Bicycle Grip Handle Factory

Bicycle Grip Handle

Molded Bicycle Grip Handles for All Bike Types

Bicycle grip handles are constructed to provide a comfortable and secure hold, ensuring reliable control and durability across various bike types and riding conditions.

Flexiparts produces custom grip handles for bicycle manufacturers, component brands, and other businesses sourcing bike grips at volume — tailored to size, shape, hardness, texture, material, color, and finish. Whether you’re specifying grips for a new bike model, a component line, or a private-label product, we support production from initial design through volume manufacturing. Please send us your 3D drawings or samples to get started.

Manufacturing Process: Extrusion for Grip Sleeves

Most bicycle grip handles are produced through rubber extrusion molding rather than injection molding. A continuous rubber tube is extruded to a precise inner and outer diameter, then cut to length — this method is well suited to the simple tubular geometry of a bar grip and supports the volume consistency bike manufacturers need across production runs. For grips requiring more complex end caps, flared profiles, or bonded lock-on collars, we combine extrusion with secondary molding or overmolding onto a plastic or metal core.

Bar Diameter Fit

Grip inner diameter must match your handlebar tube diameter for a secure, non-rotating fit. We tool to your specified bar diameter — common ranges include standard road/hybrid bars and larger mountain bike risers — and can produce dual-density or tapered-wall constructions to keep the fit snug without added clamping hardware.

Slip-On vs. Lock-On Construction

Slip-on grips rely on interference fit and grip-compound tack to stay in place, offering a lighter, lower-cost solution for casual and road use. Lock-on grips are molded with a stiffer collar section to accept a clamping ring, giving a more secure hold for mountain biking, BMX, and high-vibration off-road conditions. We produce either construction to match your bike model’s specification.

Performance for Riding Conditions

Bicycle grips are exposed to sweat, UV, rain, and repeated vibration over the product’s service life. Material and compound selection should account for this: EPDM and SBR offer good weather and UV resistance for outdoor use, silicone maintains tack across a wide temperature range, and TPE/TPR give a lighter, cost-effective option with tunable hardness for cushioning and vibration damping.
